ASSISTED LIVING
Senior living facilities are divided into two types:
- Assisted living: seniors who have medical issues that makes them unfit to live independently
- Independent living: seniors who can be independent in their daily activities but still enjoy services like housekeeping, dining, and social activities
Quick Fact: In Malaysia, dementia affected 0.126% of the population in 2021, which was double the figure in 2005 (0.063%).
Some residential or nursing homes do not have the knowledge and experience to accommodate seniors with dementia. In our assisted living homes, our caretakers had been trained and professionally certified to provide the level of care needed for the elderly that required medical attention. Our care support team will take the time to get to know you or your loved one so we can respond to any kind of unique need.
In fact, we have the capacity to provide both nursing home and assisted living facility care. Some of the residents may be able to live independently in the beginning, but may require assistance in their daily lives due to medical conditions or become more dependent as they age.
Our center also encourages the senior citizens to engage in activities that stimulate their minds, such as mahjong and simple exercises, to decrease the risk of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Nevertheless, support and visits by family members or friends are important too.
The care and attention given at our home are more personalized as we cater to a smaller number of residents. They either take private or shared rooms, depending on whether they prefer companionship or privacy, their budget, and the levels of care needed.
Nevertheless, security and round-the-clock supervision are guaranteed. Rehabilitation services, therapies or medical professional visits can be arranged based on requirements. Contact us for a tour at our homes in KL or Selangor.
